Requirements will be applied in 2015 and hoped right on target
Jakarta Education Department is going to tighten the requirements for Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) recipients. Starting from 2015, there are at least 21 requirements that must be met.
"Requirements will be applied in 2015 and hoped right on target," said Head of Jakarta Education Department, Lasro Marbun, at City Hall, Tuesday (12/16).
Private School Students will Receive KJP Next YearThose 21 requirements are including no smoking, no absent, not joined in a gang, do not have private homes, do not have a motorcycle, do not have rent homes, cars, businesses, and making fake data.
If the requirements are violated, the KJP distribution will be stopped. Its recipient will not receive the Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) launched by the government. "We'll do data collection. If someone have multiple account to get KJP and KIP, the aid distribution will be stopped," he asserted.
It is conducted because KJP recipient would be expanded until private school students next year. Even its KJP amount is higher than public school students, because private school does not get the Education Operational Aid (BOP). Besides for personal needs, it is used to pay the school fees. "The payment is not cash," he explained.
Regarding supervision, his department has involved the student parents. Thus people were asked to participate in smoothing Jakarta Provincial Government's top programs. "Parents, teachers, and our side also monitor KJP distribution. If one requirement is violated, we will switch it to the other students a.k.a stopped," he explained.
He mentions data collection is still being processed to KJP recipients next year. Fund for KJP and KIP in 2015 City Hall reaches Rp 2 trillion. "The amount of students is still recorded, considering KJP will also be dedicated to private schools," he finished.
